Thor's Hammer, one of the game stores in Austin closed their doors without warning. The games were overpriced and the selection wasn't great. Still, it was nice to be able to play in their back room until midnight on Wednesday nights. Where can we play now? Wonko's Toys in games in Austin would like to host some games for us but they close at 8:00 on Wednesday nights.
You know what's odd? Most of the people I game with these days are single. When I was single, every night was game night. Granted, we were playing different kinds of games at the time (ping pong, darts, etc.), I still hosted ALL the time unless I had a date. Of course, I had fewer work responsibilities at the time.
