Hole 14 at Old Settlers

| Monday, October 13, 2008
Playing with our meetup on Saturday, I was under the basket for an easy par putt on hole 14. I remember when that used to be my nemesis. I would always bogie that hole. Now it’s rare when I miss par on that one. Good putting combined with a consistent upshot makes all the difference. My drive is longer too but not very much.

We played a CTP, a closest to the pin contest, at B Stub. Kyle got the disc Ken had brought and it was a Star Coyote. That’s a nice disc. You are supposed to play 13, then C, then B (from the tee box at the bottom of the dam) and then 14. Well, some jerks stole B’s basket leaving just a stub where it should be. This comes not long after the theft of the lock box funds at Wilco. Since we were going to be over by C’s basket anyway, Tony had the idea of throwing for B’s stub on our walk back to 14’s tee box.
