We had 11 people at Wilco for disc golf. We split into three groups and that worked pretty well. When we were finished, several of us played another round. I have to practice all the time just to not be dead last with the players who are showing up now. That keeps me on my toes.
On Sunday, three of us played at Manor. Manor is a brutal course, especially when you play it from the long tees like we did. I kept up with the "advanced" players though so that was good.

Someone brought sort of a party game to word games meetup Saturday that I enjoyed. I've had it on the shelf forever and I think I bought it at a thrift store. Before the timer ticks down, you jot down up to 10 words with the three letter combination in play. The letters must remain in sequence but you can have letters before, in between, or after the letters. For example, if you were using AME like in the picture you could put fame, and frame and amenities as well. You could also use words like lament and pavement too. The "party game" twist is that if someone else calls out the same word you have, you must mark it off your list and they get 2 points instead of 1. This meant you had to sort of think what the other players would be choosing as well.
As I was heading to church Saturday night, they were talking about playing Scattergories. That's another frenetic game for word freaks I wish I got to play more often.
Tichu was fun as always. Wayne and I got the exact same paninni at Johnny Corino's. John H. and I were crushed by Wayne and Traci. I hardly got any cards. John H. got 4 aces twice during the game but one time he had them left him with a failed Tichu call. The aces are not always as strong as you think.
The kitten is with a new, loving home now.
